Germany has a varied history as a result they use different
phrases in different areas.
"Moin Moin!" or just "Moin!" is way to
say "Hello" in Northern Germany. It is an all-day greeting for
everyone.
"Grüß Gott" translates to "May God greet
you," used in southern Germany it is considered to say hello to everyone.
"Servus!" is
another greeting in the south of Germany that means "hello"
